Hello there,
This is my first time trying to create some sort of real mod, I'm trying to figure out how to make custom sword textures for the game, any advice? |

Will you be using pakbuild or fpkpacker to get the desired textures?
Which swords do you want to change?
What graphics editor programs will you be using? |

I have pakbuild for the textures, and I'm looking to edit the textures of the sword(s) that the player uses.
For graphics editing i'm using PixlrE, pretty basic but robust. |

Corsair has some excellent recommendations. go with what he says.
I don't use PixlrE, so I can't give you any advice on its use. Can you verify that it will open DDS files? |

I convert the files to png typically and then reconvert them back to dds DXT3. |
