I have not bought the game yet and was wondering if it can be played in window mode. I get some free time at work once in a while. :evil grin:
I need to be able to alt/tab quickly. _________________ Hugh |

Not sure if you can run it in a window, but you can Alt-Tab from the game...
I, personally, wouldn't recommend playing at work, might make the boss jealous that he can't pilliage too.... _________________

Yeah its not a true windowed mode but you can alt+tab to a program that you want to use and go back to it. Unofrtuneatley and fortuantely it does seem to put it in a puased status when you do .. do that. |

Just lock the door to your office so your boss can't come in. Thats what I do. Only problem I have is that the computer I have is very very old and is running an even older Windows NT4. So I don't play any games other then solitair. Can't play anything else on this old clunker... _________________

Doesn't your boss get suspicious about the locked-door bit? _________________ Blondebeard: "Madre de Dios! Es el Pollo Diablo!!"

No not really. He just figures that my secretary and I are working overtime and can't be disturbed, if you know what I mean!
Seriously... I'm just joking with that one. Sometimes I lock the door so I can get some work done without a bunch of people bothering me all the time... hehe... _________________

Do you take the phone off the hook too?
I used to have an office that was basically a thoroughfare between two other sections of the suite. I could shut (and lock) my doors but it created a long walk for people, so I usually just let it be. The problem of course was that folks rarely even knocked when they were actually in my office to see me--they just loomed over my desk until I noticed the light dim in their shadow. Or just started talking as if I was doing nothing but waiting politely at my desk for folks to come up and talk to me.
I eventually ended up barricaded in an office behind the offices of my subordinates--they got the traffic, and folks seldom made their way back to me because of the inconvenience.
So they just called me instead and asked me to come to their offices.
Gamewise, the worst I got away with back then was running a Tribes! server in the off hours. (I was the boss when it came to IT, though, so I kinda gave myself permission.) Other than that, it was playing Myth with officemates during the lunch hour. _________________ --/\/ Chaos Never Died |
