Robin of Sherwood starred Michael Praed and Jason Connery
as two different incarnations of the title character.
Michael Praed played Robin of Loxley in the first two series
then left the Series to appear in the theatre, Later on US TV.
Will Scarlet (Ray Winstone), Little John (Clive Mantle),
Friar Tuck (Phil Rose), Much (Peter Llewellyn Williams),
the Saracen Nasir (Mark Ryan) and Lady Marian (Judi Trott).
He is also assisted by Herne the Hunter (John Abineri).
As in the legend, Robin is opposed by the Sheriff of Nottingham
(Nickolas Grace) and Guy of Gisburne (Robert Addie), as well as
the Sheriff's brother Abbot Hugo (Philip Jackson).
At the end of the second series, Robin of Loxley is killed.
Robert of Huntingdon (played by Jason Connery) replaces him
as the new Robin Hood in the final series.
A 4th Series was planned but never filmed due to the
Financial collapse of GoldCrest, a series backer.
The 2 early 1990s Robin Hood Movies, meant no one then was
interested in further Robin Hood productions.

Myles is first trained to be a squire, then as a knight, and is finally
knighted by the king.
He is successful in killing the Earl of Alban in a trial by combat,
foiling Alban's attempt to seize the English crown.
Myles, having fallen in love with the Earl of Mackworth's daughter
Lady Anne (Janet Leigh) while staying at the castle,
is finally able to propose marriage.
