Player Hats and Governor's daughters

Hi all, I recently bought this game and was looking for mods that change add player character, found some, but was wondering if there are mods that add Hats.

Like other characters in game, besides the ones we get with promotions. Also I have seen around the forums many avatars with the player character wearing coats, is that a mod?

I have seen many post about it, so I was wondering which mods would you suggest, some changing models other textures and other diverifing the weight of them

Also some questioning if theres a way to diversify characters, like governors, daughters, etc.

making new PC SM pirates NIF models can be exceptionally difficult,
only successfully done by very few people for a limited number
of NIFs

We don’t know what your taste of women are but there are plenty of mods for the daughters. They range from simple texture replacements for the original daughters and leg versions meaning no dresses. Textures for those range from birthday suits to pants and top.

The hand picked textures from nexus is for the original nifs meaning nothing needed. Seems though one of the attractive daughters was using a beautiful daughters texture but I’d have to go back and make sure. If so it’s a error and shouldn’t be in the mod.

I'm getting a weird error with Attractive daughter (Spanish) in which it has the new textures from this mod, but has the model from original game. thus looking weird, wondering if someone else found this and how to fix it?

All the other Attractive daughter (nations) are 2048 by 2048 resolution

After a few days of searching mods, playing and etc. I tryed to do my own mod

Basically took a hat from 10 named pirates and managed to added to player char "armor" nif (after quite a fight with tools and what not).

Trouble Im having is ingame texture is not showing, I dont know why. Moddified armor.dds to have the hat texture and added the uv. Also exported it but dont know where to place it or what type file should use.

Any help is apreciated.

Also was wondering several things, for example: if its posible to have nifs for each nation for daughters, if there is a way to make x items show when bought as cuirass for example shoes? and have several "ataire's" clothes progress as when we rank up, but for combat.

Hi all, thanks @corsair91, after fighting with the tools :S and watching/reading several guides and tutorials, found 2 ways to archive what was missing the uv of the hat.

First in a page they said there were 2 metods:

a) deleting texture/uv from nif in nifskope and then add them back in blender (the "complicated method")

b) edit the things in nifskope

So I did that and it seems that my hat texture was "missing" or at least didnt show in nifskope, so in order to edit the uv (that wasnt in position). I added a new "texture" and placed "player_armor.dds" which inmediatly showed in the program, then right clicked to edit uv placed in its correct place and done.

End result is player with hat :V, still a work in progress Id like to add other things or change other clothes, but so far a success. So down below I shared zip with the modded things to replace in custom folder and a pic of who the hat looks (at least in nifskop).

Nope I never tried that mod. The only experience with hat mods was the mod a made for the male dancers. I was able to convert the nif so that only the Duke hat would show up. Otherwise if I hadn’t it would never show up Duke style except of course the pC and your actually a Duke. That mod was completed but I didn’t upload it as the guys wanted naked woman shaking their booty instead. Anything looks better than those white wig dancers the game issued. I expect the top ten pirates could be used for dancing too by taking out the cutlass if not they dance cutlass in hand. It’s just a matter of deleting with nife scope. Of course if anybody wanted to make a no hat pc mod that is done by transparency blocking it out with the alpha channel. Parksbanyon did that with his black uniform mod.
