This moves Bermuda (including the landscape) back into play in the northeast corner of the map, and shifts Barbados.
I've also added Spanish Guayana in the southeast corner where the Orinoco river discharges, and French Louisiana in the northwest corner.
Newest version (more cities - changelist)
Old version (no exe changes)

Let me know of any bugs and how you get on sailing the "expanded" map

So you changed Leogne to Louisiana and moved it. Very clever! |

Yeah I figured no one likes sailing there anyway, and it works with it coming late in the game
If I can nail locations a bit more precisely I'm considering Pensacola (although their timeline is off), maybe some of the unused islands like St. Lucia and Dominica
This obviously affects the economy a bit, but the AI is still willing to make the long journey to deliver governors, Indian attacks, etc.
The Bahamas trade ring has essentially been stretched to Carolina and Bermuda. Louisiana trades with Florida Keys, Belize with Port Royal now. Guayana just extends the Spanish main traffic |

Belize is in the right place now (at least for San Pedro, which is the best spot for it; I had a settlement pop up in the place of Ladyville Harbour)
I'm tempted to stick Louisiana "upriver" and make ships sail up one of those narrow channels to get there, not sure if the AI can handle it... |

I remember reading a post here at HOP that when jlangso put New Orleans upriver, that navigating the river with a fast ship was difficulty as it kept hitting the riverbank and getting the 'shall we anchor here?' prompt.
You might want to try sailing upriver and seeing how easy/difficult it is BEFORE moving the city.

OP now contains a further modified version with my own favourite changes. This one goes another step and drops all three Bahamian cities, which should make settlements service the far-flung colonies more.
Eleuthera is now Bermuda (with landscape changed)
Leogane is now Louisiana (1680)
Nassau is now Carolina
Nevis is now Anguilla
Gibraltar is now Guayana
Grand Bahama is now Saint Croix
Nombre de Dios is now Aruba
Port de Paix is now Belize (1680)
Montserrat is now Grand Cayman
Villa Hermosa is now Pensacola (1680)
Curacao moved
St. Eustatius corrected to St. Barts
Barbados fix
The useless items and slower aging mods are enabled. |

Very nice, seems interesting. Using more of the map will in essense make the csrribean world "bigger" as cities are now thrown out to all corners of the map |

Exactly, I like playing in 1680 to get the far reaches including Pensacola and Belize, which get serviced by nearby settlements. It's also fun to sail to Bermuda and see a few other ships on the open ocean making the same trip. |
