Several tips previously mentioned in other threads helped me tremendously.
- start search at nearest landmark like named rocks even if it doesn't appear on treasure map
- stone heads, totems, temples might be warm signals
- dead trees which you can walk though are cold signals
- dead trees, cabins which you cannot walk through are warm signals
- use compass since many landmarks are lined up exactly N,S,E,W
Dead trees which you can walk through is not part of the landmark on the map. The ones which you cannot are very close or an actual map landmark. |
