Thanks go to Cyberops and the others who helped us long ago get some of these memory addresses. Please use this thread to give me suggestion, Requests, or just state a comment about this trainer.

VISTA USERS: Either Give The trainer Run As Admin Rights or Turn Off UAC (User Access Control). Do this Via the Control Panel/User Accounts program. you can also right click on the icon and give it "rus as admin rights" or something like that, but UAc is an annoying featuer to have on at the moment.

FAQ:
Q. Does this work with my version of the program? (Usually 1.02 patch)
A. YES! It also works for one downloaded version without any work. You can also MAKE it work with any non-preset versions.

Q. How do I know if it is working, and how do I use it?
A. To see if you have it setup for the right version check the Gold value under personal status tab. If it is correct then it is working. If not you need to change version or use the "Set Offset" feature if your version is not on the list.
A. Use It by simple unzipping it anywhere and running it. You can check the boxes for the features you want, and note the hotkeys listed next to certain ones (ALT-F1 for teleporting to first pirate). Simply press this hotkey while playing game to activate or toggle the feature it corresponds to.

Q. My Game is crashing is that due to your trainer?
A. First, I do not believe my trainer is the cause IF (a big IF) the version is set correctly (See previous question). Some other mods have been known to cause an issue with SMP itself not only my trainer.
A. Second, If it is crashing during Alt Tabbing in and out of game: That is a known issue with the game itself, try lower water detail and if need other graphic settings.
A. Third, If crashing at other times like loading a game and unpausing as I've had happen. This also is probably not do to my trainer. I relieved this myself by making the game windows 2000 compatible.
A. If you suspect my trainer is the cause let me know what features you have turned on and if you can send me a saved game and I'll look into it.

Known Issues:
1. I can't tell when you load a saved game. but can compare game date: So if you load one that is < 11 days ahead of other one: (If you load a game that is less date wise or more than 10 days this does not apply)
A. "Promotion Difficulty" Features active will carry over remainder values and might keep old game values.
B. "Promotion Difficulty" Checkbox features might activate if favor of new game is 1-5 less of old game.
C. "Reset Favor Upon Promotion" will fire if your loaded game is one rank higher than current game.

Features:

Status Tab:
* Never Age - Stay 18 forever (this will lock the year to whatever your start year is.)
* Be 18 In Sword Fight - Don't get punished for being old in sword fights. Doesn't lock year.
* Happy Crew - Keeps your crew happy as long as you have a descent amount of gold upon you.
* Rich / Well Stocked Shops - Makes town stores have a lot of gold and supplies.
* Lock Camera's Zoom - Stops the camera from zooming in and out so darn much when getting near land.
* Auto Dance - Always make the right moves while dancing.
* Always Graceful - When Dancing Make perfect moves. Must have auto dance on.
* Lock cities in the known state - You can always get their info
* Change settlements into towns with/without a chance to become pirate havens. Change Jesuit missionaries into other types. (These towns can't be attack but can do everything else a town can.)
* Double all population/soldiers of towns. Either All, nearest, or special (Selected) Town.
* Make Towns Rich. Either All, nearest, or special (Selected) Town.
* Change Town Owner. Either All, nearest, or special (Selected) Town.
* Randomize All Towns' Owner.
* Make Town's Daughter Beautiful. Either All, nearest, or special (Selected) Town.
* Raymond/Montalban Options - Change their ship, Max Crew, Max Guns, Speed Boost

Personal Status Tab:
* Change Difficulty of game.
* Change selected skill.
* Edit/Lock Crew, Supplies, and commodities.
* Change your rank/wanted status for each nation
* Receive Warning When You Get Enough Points + Warning Level For Next Promotion (I.E. You have a value of 20 in the warn field. To go from LOM to First rank it will play sound upon and every point gained after 22. To from 4th rank to 5th it warn you upon and every point after 32.) This will help in getting more land when getting promoted.
* Change what special items you have.
* Change Promotion difficulty so it takes more favor to achieve a promotion.
* Loss Of Favor Makes Wanted - If you attack a nation's city or ship you loose all favor and get a price on your head.
* Loss Of Favor Loses Promotions - Strips you of your rank for the given nation if you attack their ship or town.
* Reset Favor Upon Promotion - When receiving a promotion all favor will be removed making it take longer to get promotions.
* Complete Lost Relatives, Lost City, Quests and/or maps.
* Reset Lost Relatives Quest.
* Keep Min Food At One Month Supply
* Create Phantom Cannons For Battle - You'll Always get maximum Cannons For battle Whether You Have Them Or Not

Fleet Status Tab:
* Set Your ship and Enemy ship to have a minimum ship speed in the world or battle (seperately)
* Change what your ships are, what upgrades they have, repair them, or sink them
* Instantly Stop your ships or all other ships
* Anchor your ships or all other ships
* Change what specialists you have
* Make your ships unable to get hurt.

Battle Tab:
* No Reload for Your ship and/or enemy - You don't have to wait to fire again.
* Enemy Only fire Cannons Once
* Change/Lock amount of crew and guns in battle
* Destroy Enemy Sails, Crew, or Hulls (separately)
* Make your pirates never die in land battles
* Make your pirates never run out of movement points in land battle
* Instantly win land battles
* Change who is at war
* Keep people at war never letting them cease a conflict
* Resurrect, give selected ship, speed boost, and all upgrades to Top Ten. Separate options. Also can set a time delay for them to resurrect.
* Set/Clear Default Resurrection Data! This allows you to set the pirate's information upon starting a new game and using it until you clear it. This way they won't appear at the location they were when you started trainer but the set location.

Teleport Tab:
* Set and go to anywhere instantly (some have default locations for you but you can overwrite/reset them) now 12 places to set.
* Go to any of the Top Ten pirates. Note if they are in a town it might do something funny so just teleport again.
* Go to Baron Raymando or Marquis Montalban.
* Go to Selected Special City (Note some cities might cause you to teleport elsewhere on exit)

Version 3.18
* Fixed - Crashing Issue With Rich/Well Stocked Shop (And Possibly Other Features that caused crash on loading game)
* Fixed - Hotkey for Drop Anchor, Enemy Instant Stop, Zoom Lock, Battle Crew Lock And Battle Guns Lock Was misbehaving.
* Fixed - Drop Anchor was not functioning properly
* Fixed - Making Ray/Monty Ship a Certain Type would make Henry Morgan ship act strangely
* Change - Give 1000 gold plundered status when resurrecting pirates. This way there won't be a delay(sometimes a long one) before there stats increase.

Version 3.17
* Fixed - Caused By Condensed Memory Location Array - Dropping Anchor For Players Ships Would Set Difficulty level to Apprentice
* Fixed - Caused By Condensed Memory Location Array - Dropping Anchor For Others Would Give Henry Morgan A War Canoe
* Fixed - Personal Status Tab - Reset Favor Upon Promotion Feature - Was not functioning as intended.
* Fixed - Personal Status Tab - Increase Population By #% Every Month - When Never Age / Lock Year Used at same time it wouldn't fire for restart of year.
* Fixed - Teleport Tab - When resetting teleport to default facing was not reset.
* Fixed - Battle Tab - Time Delay for pirate's resurrection was being saved to registry wrong, causing 120 to be selected if you had selected 60 and such.
* Fixed - Battle Tab - Time Delay for pirate's resurrection - 5 second delay wasn't calculated properly
* Fixed - Battle Tab - Unlimited movements - If they attacked or went into forest they'd no longer be selectable.
* Fixed - Battle Tab - Immortal Pirate - Units would still route
* Fixed - Application Title after starting so only one instance will run at a time. (More Than One could Cause SMP To Hang)
* Added - Battle Tab - Set/Clear Default Resurrect Data For Pirates. (See Features Section Of Readme For Further Info)

* Added - Resolution Compatibility. I put everything in scrollboxes so it fits better on screens less than the size of my form.

* Fixed - Battle Tab - Resurrect Pirate Routine would cause a game crash in certain situations. (Last version memory condensing did not create this)
* Fixed - Status Tab - When Using Set special city feature no sound was played.
* Fixed - Captain's Log - Locking Battle Crew/Guns Was putting a non-descriptive message in the log.
* Added - Battle Tab - 5 Second Delay option For Ressurect Pirate.
* Changed - Status Tab - Make Owner Features now make settlements rather than cities for those that were settlements.
* Changed - Status Tab - Make Owner Drop down now has Indian and Jesuit by default. It will NOT set main cities to these but give an error sound.

* Fixed - Getting Out of game and back in without restaring trainer, the trainer would stop working. Now it checks Starting Year value and if at 0 it'll reset itself.
* Fixed - Status Tab - "Be 18 In Sword Fights" Feature made date flash IF you abandon game in middle of fight then load a game.
* Fixed - Status Tab - "Be 18 In Sword Fights" Feature made player go to winning spot IF you start the trainer While at start position of a fight.
* Fixed - Using "Enemy No Reload" Feature Would create a message in log for it and "Promotions Go Away".

I just uploaded 3.15 to my filefront site can you make it "ALSO" on other rather than replace? I cleaned up code a lot and I might of borken something though I tested a bit. That way if soemthing is majorly borked they can get the other version still Smile

Surprised OK, now I got major egg on my face. I just found a bug in my trainer that could cause SMP to crash, After I just posted an FAQ that said that I thought my program wasn't the cause. Haha. I said that simply because ALMOST all my features move static/specific values to memory, and if they work once they'll work everytime. ALMOST... One feature in specific doesn't and doesn't run every second either. "Ressurect Top Ten" Has static values for default but I also have it read in from the game all values the first game you get into so in theory if you use it the Pirates will regenerate near their home base with all that games settings. Unfortunately a typo caused all pirates but Henry Morgan to read in incorrectly.

I found this issue while looking into why my pirates weren't gaining points quickly after ressurecting and seeing if I could give them a gold boost.

I wasn't going to release 3.16 until I added some monty/ray features but under the circumstances I'm goign to upload it now. Enjoy and for those who have been having crashes and been using this feature, this should stop those nasty crashes.

I'm working on 3.17 now. While going through code looking for ways to tighten it, I came across a couple bugs to note but aren't major enough for me to release until I'm done with new version.

Droping anchor feautre can change difficulty to apprentice and dropping enemy anchor feature can change first pirate's (henry morgan) ship type to war canoe.

I know that normally trainers are used to make selected aspects of the game easier, but I have enjoyed using yours to make some aspects harder for purposes of challenges - placing a high bounty for each nation, and so on. Awhile back I got the idea of trying to create a super named pirate - say Henry Morgan in a 48 gun SOTL, fully loaded, with a rapier.

Is any of that feasible? It seems that you have been able to convert ALL pirates to SOTLs. Any way to individualize it? Or to assign one to Monty? Or to change the swords of another character? I have been told the code does not permit it - but it would be fun.

I'm glad your enjoying my trainer.

I could individualize the pirate options easy enough, but I'm not sure about the swords they use. I never pay attention to that in battle. I can look into it though.

BTW: I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it matters much what the pirates ACTUALLY do. I think each has a set % that their plunder goes up each month.... Not sure but what I've seen makes me think something like this. Maybe a + to what they actually do???

I think you are right about the plunder. I just thought it would make a great challenge to create one really fearsome opponent.

If the swords are unchangeable, how about Monty in a 48 gun, all extras SOTL? That galleon makes it to easy to grape shot him down to a solo duel.

oops. Replied to your linked topic, Loki. But that might make more sense anyway and it ought to be bumped. So is it possible to upgrade another game character's sword to a rapier? Or for a class of characters?

Has anyone figured out whether all rapiers are equal? Or does the player have an advantage if he is young, with fencing skill and all gear?

not all sword are equal at least this is how I see it. The swords have a base value that is all equal but then you subtract age from this value add on bonus for fencing skill items etc.

Sorry didn't get to it this weekend, so can't answer if it is possible to change someone default sword type yet. I'd assume it is a 0,1, or 2 value somewhere in the ship data...if it isn't hard coded...

Phalyzr, I'm having trouble making your trainer work with my downloaded copy of SMP. I have Windows Vista 32-bit and have tried turning off UAC, giving it admin privileges and running it after the game is on instead of vice versa. I have done just about everything I can think of, even the simplest things with no help. Can you imagine what my problem could be?

Please help!
