If you ask me, we have been waiting quite patiently for this patch and it doesn't seem to be delivering. Come on, Firaxis, you promised us it'd be released about now, so where is it?

While I remain on Firaxis' side here, I'd definitely like to see the patch soon, and hope it's not a haphazard incomplete mess like 1.0.1.
Now if Firaxis were to do an about face and declare that no further patches would be released for Pirates!--that the US 1.0.1 patch was it--then I'd sadly have to accept rupertlittlebear's view of the matter.

Seriously though, Firaxis cant treat us this way, we're paying customers, and they should give us support, and lick our shoes, or just lick our shoes.

Surely it will lead to a massive backlash on fireaxis if they refuse to release any further patches whilst rereleasing pirates under 1.0.2. Surely when we pay for the game we help pay for the maintainence of it. I reckon it will be out next week after that then ill lose hope of it. |

i wonder if there is more than one little poor programer at firaxis working on pirates! new patch...
according to me and to what i've read in the change log there is no major fix in this patch so it doesn't seems to me there is a montain of work to do in order to release it on time...
not even the bug of 'always happy indians/settlements/jesuits' people is being corrected....

I think that if this patch doesn't come out real soon than we really should unleash Rupertlittlebear (our secret weapon) and have him launch that big nuke missle he used to tow behind his war canoe on to Firaxis. That will fix em real good...

Will you are right Rupert the patch is out .. and its been officialy posted ... w00t.. everyone that can play the game put it on and tell me how it is.. I won't get to try until tonight |
