Right back at ya... Thanks for the welcome! I've been lurking for awhile and it's amazing the number of different ways this game can be played. It's hard to believe this game originally came out in 1988 and was as open-ended then as it is today. |

I guess I am new too, well I'm just interested in Pirates! and that's is pretty much my whole experience with the game. I generally do well with the English for some reason that I don't know why, and I will always have my royal sloop around too. |

Greetings denizens of the High Seas. I am Selkirk, Weegie Pirate!
So I've been playing Pirates! for a few years now on and off, but got back into the game recently! So I decided to start doing a bit of modding, and I'm bringing Scotland to the game as a Nation. Plunder and Pillage awaits the english and the french!

Greetings! I used to play Pirates on my buddy's Commodore C-64. Whenever the setting changed, you had to remove the 5 1/4" floppy disk, turn it over and reinsert it.
I just got the latest version yesterday and am interested in customizing the game (with the old one we could edit the bitmaps, etc.) My computer skills are kind of rusty from disuse, but I really enjoyed the game then and it looks even better now.
