Guru and
There are some yachts owned by local Montalbans which are worth for a little fencing however. (At least I would love to cut off their head with my cutlass... But enough of politics.) Well, I would advise to visit 'Hortobágy' on the hungarian plain (not to be mixed with the plain looking girls! ) eastwards from Budapest which is famous for the big grey cattles.
On other hand I'd like to travel to the Caribbean but it is a bit far far away. Perhaps one day I can manage it. (I have hard work on pirating before. My wealthpoints are far from '24' if you know what I mean. ) _________________ May the Wind of Force be with you! |

Ahoy, ThunderBald, and welcome to the Isle!
A river runs through my city- not as storied as the Danube, but the water is just as wet...and I have lived in Odessa, which is on the Black Sea itself. A beautiful city.
For at least two thousand years, there have been ships on the Danube, since travel by roads was too slow- until at least the 19th century. So I'd wager that there have been pirates there the whole time, as wolves among the sheep... _________________ Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves;

Hehe, I really live in Norway, another fine country to visit, known for it's beatiful nature and many fjords
They offer cheap weekend tickets to and from Budapest, affordable even for me who lives on a student budget _________________

Dave!
Maybe a few centuries before but since the oil comes via the pipeline 'Friendship' there is not much sense to attack the ships. What should I do with the poor graintransports?
So you are sailing under this flag, eh matey?

We are neighbours then. I was once by the Black Sea at Nesebar, Bulgaria and Odessa seems to be either. There are so many places in the world I want to see.
Norway also is one of them, Guru. Though I was in the most countries in Europe due to my former job but I was not lucky to get a task in Northern Europe. Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland is on the list I want to visit before I die. _________________ May the Wind of Force be with you! |

You should use Photobucket: http://photobucket.com/
Save the picture on your computer, then upload it on photobucket, copy the image link and paste it here..
It will look somewhat like this:

I am also no expert - but I have learnt to use the Preview Option to see what the post will look like - also - you can re-edit your own POSTS to fix them up.
For Images - I use Photo Bucket - upload them there first - then paste in the link from the IMG Code.
eg
This One - I have removed the leading
http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll302/wilkore/718px-Flag_of_Odessa_Ukrainesvg.png
Here is yours - I can only assume that some sites do not translate correctly for Cutlass Isle.

This is the Photobucket one again - with the added.
So I guess - get yourself a photobucket Account.
www.photobucket.com
BTW - welcome to Cutlass Isle.
Also - After Checking my Post - it appears that Guru beat me too it.
( so I re-edited my POST to add the flag ... etc ...
BTW - I am from :
And - Also -

OK, it works (checked with preview) but I don't want to insert the flag third time too. Thanx for the help. _________________ May the Wind of Force be with you! |

Aye, indeed! And especially here on the Isle, every neighbour be a good neighbour!

Aye, me too, me too...I have been in Finland, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Belgium, and would like to go to the rest of Europe and the Far East...but probably as a teacher or tourist, not as a pirate!
Pirates never get welcomed back...unless they are privateers, of course, bringing blessed boatloads of booty for beggarly burghers to buy...that's why I say I'm a privateer all of the time. Privateers get gold around their necks, titled wives, and fame...pirates get a rope around their necks, a pox from a wench, and infamy!
The only Hungarian I have ever met face to face was a young woman who was involved in the same volunteer work- in Odessa, pleasantly enough.
She was very cool. So now I have met two Hungarians who are rum good mates (if this counts as an acquaintance)!

Aye, someday...looking forward to it!
As a matter o' fact, I be delighted to meet a great many of the coves who lurk around here. We could have a reunion in the Caribbean, purchase a sloop, and...visit a few of the ports we have been to, for real this time!

Great idea Dave! I bring some copper cannons made by 'Áron Gábor' from the collection of 'Museum of War History'. These cannons are famous weapons used by hungarian freedom fighters in 1848-49. Actually they were made for use by inland rats but I think on the seas a few will come handy too. How much is a used Royal sloop without extras? I have a few spare piece o'eights... _________________ May the Wind of Force be with you! |

Ahoy, mateys. I just ran into this place when I was looking for fencing tips against Monty on Swashbuckler level. The collected wisdom (and fencing academy) here is just awesome. Now I've got me an evil Spanish cabin boy and an English SotL on Swashbuckler. Just one though. The English apparently decided not to build anymore, after seeing their first one captured minutes after leaving St. Kitts
Also, thanks to ExtraCrispy for the welcome over at the other thread |
